Yuanmoto® L632 aluminum chromium-free passivation solution is a chromium-free chemical conversion film process suitable for aluminum materials, including pure aluminum, aluminum alloys, and aluminum die-castings; it consists of silicon-titanium-based closed main salts, film-forming aids, organic acids, etc., and does not contain phosphorus, chromium, lead, cadmium, or other heavy metals and harmful organic substances, making it safe and environmentally friendly; after treatment, it can form a uniform, dense, nearly transparent film layer on the surface of aluminum materials, which has good corrosion resistance. The nearly transparent film layer can maintain the gloss of the aluminum surface for a long time, preventing the aluminum from developing mold spots and rust during long-term storage. It can also be used for pre-treatment before coating aluminum materials, providing good adhesion for subsequent spraying or painting. This product is used at room temperature, has a low concentration in the tank, stable performance, high production efficiency, and low overall cost.
• Safe and environmentally friendly, free of phosphorus and heavy metal chromium
• Good corrosion resistance, providing good adhesion for subsequent coatings
• Maintains the gloss of the aluminum surface for a long time
• Low dosage, efficient, low overall cost
Recommended process flow:
Aluminum materials: degreasing → rinsing → alkaline etching or acid etching → rinsing → rinsing → passivation → rinsing → drying (80-100℃) for subsequent coating
Precautions:
1. Prepare the tank solution according to the operating ratio, it is recommended to use purified water for the ratio. After fully stirring the tank solution, use a pH meter to check the pH value to ensure it is within the specified range;
2. The surface of the workpiece must be thoroughly degreased and deoxidized to ensure there are no water film residues on the surface;
3. After the solution has been used for a period, adjust the solution to the required concentration and pH value according to the analysis method and pH measurement. The usual dosage depends on the workload;
4. When aluminum materials are loaded densely and the processing volume is large, it is recommended to use air stirring during operation to ensure the uniformity of the passivation film;
5. Die-cast aluminum parts are prone to severe corrosion, blackening, and gray hanging during degreasing. It is recommended to choose suitable degreasing agents to avoid excessive corrosion of die-cast aluminum, which can severely affect the subsequent passivation effect;
6. Die-cast aluminum parts are prone to severe corrosion, blackening, and gray hanging during degreasing. It is recommended to choose suitable degreasing agents to avoid excessive corrosion of die-cast aluminum, which can severely affect the subsequent passivation effect;
7. After passivation treatment, do not stack the workpieces together before rinsing with water and drying. Once the workpieces are completely dry, they can be stacked together for storage.
